A Most Amazing Guitar Player

I took the girls to a concert tonight that was sponsored by a local church. We saw a man named Tony Melendez. His mother took Thalidomide when she was pregnant with him and as a result he was born without arms. His father was a guitar player so as a child Tony had the opportunity to play and experiment with the instrument. He eventually taught himself how to play using his feet. He is simply amazing.

He has played for both Pope John Paul II and Pope Benedict. He has traveled the world. You can see him on you tube -http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iRiF84zWOcI&feature=related

It was an incredible evening and we had a truly wonderful time together.
